Vijay Sood

Vijay Sood graduated as a physicist from the University of London. As an undergraduate, he researched in electro-optic devices amongst other topics. Vijay then worked in the Telecommunications Industry on the digitization of Analogue exchanges and Customer Services, using mainframe systems for over 5 years. Vijay became amongst the earliest Professional Services consultants in Siebel before going on to manage large-scale teams on the earliest java-based eCommerce applications during the dotCom years. In 2005, he started interacting with a small company called Salesforce.com before joining them in 2006. He eventually ran the Program Architect group across Europe for Salesforce. Vijay left in 2015 to become the first EMEA Services member in Vlocity, helping customers use the Industry-specific applications on the Salesforce Platform. Vlocity expanded to 29 countries and over 1500 people before it was acquired by Salesforce in 2020 to help Salesforce move into the Industry Cloud faster. Vijay is now the Global Lead for the Salesforce Industries Assurance Services/Program Architect Team. Vijay is fully certified on the platform and has been working with Salesforce for the past 15 years.
